Westonet Improvements

We are constantly improving our communication, service provisions and excellent support services for our customers. We have recently made some updates to our Westonet site so that you have all the information you need for your machine in one place.
Recent improvements include the addition to our Downloads section of the latest Firmware for our Sigma Family machine range. We have also added the Sigma Touch vend and default videos and additional Primo information in the Technical Manuals and Parts sections. We have worked together with Cashless System providers to improve their communications to our VMC systems. This improvement is included within the V03.05 Firmware now available and, as always, we strongly recommend that whenever possible all machines are updated to latest production standards.
Default videos and vend videos are now also available for both milkshake and non-milkshake machines.  Instructions for loading these are also provided in the applicable files.
The Technical Manuals section now also includes manuals for the full Primo range – XL Bean to Cup (pre-November 2014); NG Bean to Cup; Midi and Mini Instant versions. Similarly, the Parts section now also has the individual machine types included.
We have also encountered a couple of High Pressure Brewer systems installed at low water pressure sites which, due to the low water pressure, have timed-out during boiler fill operation. To counteract this we have extended this safety timeout to 60 seconds. This is also included in the V03.05 Firmware now readily available.

Measuring Success

Since the successful introduction of the Westomatic Training Academy last June; offering customers different levels of training options (Beginners, installations, intermediate and advanced) to suit engineer roles and experience, Technical Helpline Calls from current purchasing customers who have attended have reduced by a minimum of 50% since this launch – a true measurement of success.
Not only to continue measuring, but also for immediate support and excellent customer service we do stress that all calls for technical assistance must be made to our office +44 (0)1626 323100 and not to our Technical Development Managers mobile phones. This way, we can be sure to transfer the call to the most suitable person who is known to be available to assist.
